Arturo Fuente Little Cigars the first Dominican puros

Arturo Fuente Little Cigars can be called the most famous brand and not only in the Dominican market. They successfully compete even with Cuban brands. Mainly due to the taste and aroma. Unlike many Cuban brands, they retain their quality. This is no wonder: the owner of the brand left Liberty Island long before the revolutionary unrest, back in 1898.

The factory, which later received the name of the owner, appeared fourteen years later, in Tampa. Created from tobacco from Cuba, the products turned out to be the most expensive in the United States. After the Cuban Revolution, the factory closed, and cigar production was transferred to the mainland, to Central America, but torsedors also had to leave from there.

Arturo Fuente Little Cigars are made by the descendants of the founder of the brand. The factory has existed since 1980, occupies 70 thousand square meters, more than 30 million cigars are exported from here per year. In production, tobacco grown on a family plantation is used. Even the cover leaf is grown here. This is surprising: Cameroonian or American leaf is used in other factories.

The Fuente family is one of the few cigar manufacturers to use four different types of tobacco for the filling. Moreover, each type of Arturo Fuente Little Cigars is made according to a special recipe. As a result, all Arturo Fuente Little Cigars have a unique range of tastes and aromas.

Today, under this brand, more than 20 types of hand-rolled Arturo Fuente Little Cigars are produced.

Of course, legendary Fuente Fuente Opus X deserves special mention – the first Dominican puros, which at one time caused considerable excitement in the world cigar market. On the day they went on sale, some tobacco lovers specially flew to New York to be the first to try these sensational tobacco masterpieces from Arturo Fuente.

In addition to its own cigars, today the Fuente family produces custom-made products for other brands. So at the main Arturo Fuente factory in Santiago, the Ashton brand is born, and at the Mok factory – Cuesta-Rey. Each year, four factories of the company twist over 28 million cigars, and which allows this illustrious family to take second place in the Dominican Republic in terms of cigar production.
